Perplexity updated its Comet Agent with the latest models from Anthropic and Google as of March 2026. Pro users now default to Claude Sonnet 4.6 for agentic tasks, while Max subscribers use Claude Opus 4.6. Gemini 3.1 Pro is also available. The iOS app for Comet launched with in-page research and autonomous multi-step task handling.
